This attractive house plant is ideal for a beginner, as it tends to cope with neglect and poor growing conditions better than most. Its foliage is really pretty, with green, glossy palm like leaves, oval in shape with irregular splashes of yellow and pale green variegation, on stems which radiate out from the top of the stalk, creating an umbrella-like effect. This plant likes to dry out between waterings, allowing any excess water to drain away freely.
